World, push the button...

One word for today...Fantastic! I got my silver wings today! Unfortunately the cloud base was too low so I had to do a ghost solo but none the less I've got my solo wings! I'm so tired, I've done about 20 launches this weekend! That's a lot of flying! I'm really going to miss everyone at 611 VGS, we've had some great laughs. I'll miss the banter at meal times, the micky taking, ragging around in rovers, and of course the flying.

However I'm not going to miss getting up at 7:00am every weekend!
'Push the Button' is stuck in my head thanks to Ozzie. Its been playing, its seems, on repeat all weekend. It was playing when I arrived Saturday and when I left this evening. Something that I did notice that was cool, was as we were packing up tonight, 'Staring at the Sun' and 'Boulevard of Broken' dreams was plying in the hanger, two song that I love. It's strange how music associates itself with events in our lives. I think this is one of those events.
I hope everyone else has had a good weekend, I have to catch up with work so I'll bid you all a good evening...
