Standing on a roof top trying to clear my mind...

I'm shattered, I've been home from school about 20 minutes and I'd just want to fall asleep. The weekend was pretty good though if not totally draining.
Friday was a good day at school, high spirits, fun football and in chemistry the 8th wonder of the world, the 'Eggy Hand', mastered by Tom for Sallys birthday. It was totally gross and smelt like a rotting carcas... but it was cool.
Claire came over mine after ringing giving me a chance to crash and not do much. I was pretty tired and quite by the time Claire arrived so I wasn't very talkative which I think upset her a bit but the rest of the weekend was great. We crawled out of bed Saturday morning, got some clothes on, climbed into my car and headed down to Reading, for my final uni interview. The radios knackered in my car so we were forced into conversation, it was nice to just chat and joke and have fun. We made it to Reading fairly easily, I'm so glad she can just about read a map. Neither of us were impressed about it, it just generally sucked. It looks like I'm going to Sheffield now which I do like and Claire seems to have made the same decision. So it looks like we're going to university together. We were home by 6.00 and cooked ourselves some food, followed by semolina, that was slightly more successful than our last attempt. We just had a nice evening in together, playing, watching a shit film, chatting and snuggling. Not forgetting the best *cough* ever!

Sunday was pretty damn good aswell, Claire stayed over (a whole 24 hours!!) and took me into Bury with her in the morning. I'd volunteered to help run an abseiling fundraiser of of the multi-story car park. It was bloody freezing all day, but we all had a laugh and a joke together, and Claire brought my lunch for me. After everyone from the hospice had jumped we had a KFC on the roof and a couple of leaps ourselves. It was great, I hadn't done it for so long, but its like riding a bike! Good fun! We finished clearing up about 4.00, the same time as Claire finished work so she took me home for a cup of tea.

A really cool weekend!
