Warm night, clear sky...

Perhaps it's time I blogged and told everyone how my life at uni is working out.
To be honest things are great, it feels like I've been here for months! I've made some great friends and have already had some great nights out (and in!). Freshers week was awesome with plenty of pub crawls and piss ups, and the days were mainly spent bimbling around Sheffield finding everything and placing everything. This past week saw the start of my lectures and tutorials, its nothing to strenuous just yet, I think there easing us in to everything. In these two weeks I've made it into the peak district three times which is fantastic! I signed up to the High Peak club and have been walking, climbing and bouldering. I might be heading to Burbage South again to do some more bouldering tomorrow. All these extra outdoor activities have given me the excuse to go and buy more kit, that is what my loans for right?!

Tonight is the Freshers Ball which I'm hoping will be awesome! My flat is meeting Claires house to have a few drinks then we're all going to mooch up to the union for our free vodka-martinis and hopefully a long night of drink dance and general mayhem!

Before we get too old...

Take my hand and run forever...

Well that was very surreal, I've just said good bye to Emma and Ashleigh who popped round to wish me luck. We seembed to have a hundred conversations in five minutes, then we hugged and they dissapeared. It got me thinking of all the stuff I'm going to miss when I'm gone, but it's only 7 or so months and then I'm back again and carrying on with everything as I've left it, I hope.

Today and yesterday in fact have been great, a fantastic stress relief before I head of tomorrow. De-camp day was a laugh, and how could it not have been with apple cannons to fire and trailors and vans to ride around on dangerously! The trip to the pub was a giggle, only because it gave me and Marc a chance to play a little practical joke on Will!

Too much pressure to take...

Right... Well I haven't blogged for a while and apologies for all the previous dribble and crap!

For a little heads-up I'm leaving for Sheffield on Saturday to start my new life at uni. Bugger! I've spent the past week panicking and attempting to get prepared. Saturday saw a world record breaking 6 hour shopping expedition which i can tell you was not fun.

Still in the motion...

Direction seems the only hope...

Well Emma left not too long ago after a film and a half and a couple of drinks. It was nice to catch up, and a chance for me to relax with a friend. What's happened since my last post? Well my relationship with Claire has been all over the place, I'm not too sure what is happening but things seem to have settled down slightly. This weekend has been the 'wargame' weekend which has been a very welcome change from the norm a change for something totally different for my mind to concentrate on. Last night I spent with Claire babysitting and as a result am absolutely shattered so will be heading of to sleep very shortly.
